The Chair of Environmental Monitoring and Management was established on July 28, 2012 based on the merger of the Chair of Environmental Monitoring and the Chair of Environmental Management and Audit. Currently, the Chair employs 9 lecturers and 2 employees from among the educational support staff. As part of the chair, there are two educational and research laboratories (the laboratory of environmental monitoring and the laboratory of environmental management), which are equipped with modern equipment that is intensively used in the educational process and research.
Tasks of the chair:
- To form a comprehensive worldview of a specialist within the concept of sustainable development on the platform of competence in the environmental and social spheres;
- To introduce innovative educational methods in the integration with leading universities.
- To strengthen the practical focus of the subjects taught;
- To optimize the training and production practices according to the needs of consumers.
